eRider™ Training

 

Study at home for fewer class hours! Basic and Intermediate course students now have the option to complete classroom sessions at home on a computer. The eRider™ online classroom is available in Portland, Salem, Albany, Eugene, Bend and Medford.

Approved Courses

eRider™ Basic is a course for beginners that includes four to six hours of classroom and eight hours of practice riding. No experience necessary! eRider™ Basic meets Oregon's mandatory training requirements for all new license applicants. Tuition is $199.

eRider™ Intermediate is a course for riders with some experience: Participants must be able to get underway, turn, shift and stop a motorcycle. The course includes four to six hours classroom and four hours practice riding. eRider™ Intermediate meets Oregon's mandatory training requirements for all new license applicants who are 21 or older. Tuition is $169.

The eRider™ classroom uses interactive video, graphics and other features to build solid mental riding skills. Users should have a modern desktop, laptop or tablet computer and high-speed Internet connection, in addition to other system requirementsSmart phones do not provide adequate screen resolution.

Registration is completed on a secure website. Payment is required when you register. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and personal checks are accepted. If you pay by check, your seat will not be reserved until payment is received.

Refund Policy

Remember: When you register, you are paying for a reserved seat in a course. Registrations are limited. If you need to reschedule your course or cancel, you must do so at least three days before the course begins to be eligible for a refund. Students who arrive late or leave early lose their reservation and payment.
