Braking Clinic

Braking Clinics are an excellent opportunity to experience your motorcycle’s handling dynamics at higher speeds. Most of us are familiar with braking and swerving at the relatively low speeds we demonstrate on the range. Most of our riding in the real world, however, happens at much higher speeds.

The motorcycle feels and handles much differently under these conditions. Remaining in control while stopping quickly at those speeds requires greater skill.

Braking Clinics run 2-3 hours. During that time you will receive coaching from the same instructors who teach ART. Your skill and confidence in high-speed braking applications will increase considerably, and you’ll come away with a better understanding of what your own students experience.

Instructors ride their own street motorcycles and need full coverage motorcycle riding gear, including a motorcycle jacket. Due to the higher speeds involved, bring the best gear you have.
