Road Riding Tactics
This 4.5-hour course is designed for recent graduates of basic or intermediate training, and endorsed riders who never had training.
There is no “classroom” in RRT. Riding exercises are paired with range-side chats. Discussions increase awareness of crash causes and strategies to reduce risk. Nine riding exercises (six of them new) build precision and confidence in the tactics riders use every day, such as slow, tight turns, braking in a lean, quick lane changes and negotiating faster curves. These exercises act as a “teaser” for other advanced courses such as PMC, ABC, ART and cornering clinics.
RRT runs 4.5 hours. Instructors ride their own street motorcycles. Protective gear requirements are the same as for basic and intermediate students, though we recommend full gear, including a motorcycle jacket.
Registration opens one month prior.
