When we administer the skill evaluation, we are administering a state licensing exam. Perfect or near-perfect accuracy is paramount. This 2-hour instructor clinic will pair you with another instructor (hint: Invite a friend!) to demonstrate and discuss key points of the skill evaluation.
Cornering Clinics eliminate the distractions of the street, and allow you to concentrate on where you look, line selection, bike placement and transitions. Your cornering skill and confidence will improve noticeably, and you’ll come away with a better understanding of what your own students experience.
Braking Clinics are an excellent opportunity to experience your motorcycle’s handling dynamics at higher speeds. Your skill and confidence in high-speed braking applications will increase considerably, and you’ll come away with a better understanding of what your own students experience.
This 4.5-hour course is designed for recent graduates of basic or intermediate training, and endorsed riders who never had training. There is no “classroom” in RRT. Riding exercises are paired with range-side chats. Discussions increase awareness of crash causes and strategies to reduce risk. Nine riding exercises (six of them new) build precision and confidence in the tactics riders use every day, such as slow, tight turns, braking in a lean, quick lane changes and negotiating faster curves.
