Approved Courses – Basic

 

 

Basic Rider Training (BRT) is a 15-hour course for beginners that includes eight hours of practice riding. No experience necessary! This course meets Oregon's mandatory training requirements for all new license applicants. Tuition is $199.

Study at home for fewer class hours! eRider™ Basic is the approved basic course for beginners in which students complete classroom sessions at home on a computer. No experience necessary! This course meets Oregon's mandatory training requirements for all new license applicants.Tuition is $199.

 

Approved Courses – Intermediate

 

Intermediate Rider Training (IRT) is an eight-hour course for riders with some experience: Participants must be able to get underway, turn, shift and stop a motorcycle. This course meets Oregon's mandatory training requirements for all new license applicants who are 21 or older. Tuition is $169.

Registration is completed on a secure website. Payment is required when you register. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and personal checks are accepted. If you pay by check, your seat will not be reserved until payment is received.

Advanced Courses

 

 

Rider Skills Practice (RSP) is for licensed riders who want to raise their skills to a higher level, focusing on techniques for cornering, emergency braking and collision avoidance. Tuition is $99.



Advanced Rider Training (ART)
 is designed to refine the cornering skills of licensed riders on the tight turns and curves of an enclosed track. Tuition is $179.

TEAM OREGON and ODOT are also proud to provide Advanced Motors Training (AMT) programs for police motor officers. 

Refund Policy

Remember: When you register, you are paying for a reserved seat in a course. Registrations are limited. If you need to reschedule your course or cancel, you must do so at least three days before the course begins to be eligible for a refund. Students who arrive late or leave early lose their reservation and payment.
