PRECISION
Learn to turn on a dime.
A great way to break in a new bike! The Precision Maneuvering Clinic (PMC) is a half-day course for endorsed riders modeled on police motorcycle officer training. Participants provide their own motorcycle and protective gear.
Participants improve coordination of clutch, throttle, and steering inputs to keep the motorcycle balanced at low speed while executing tight turns and U-turns with precision and control. Students also practice group riding formation, parking and signals. Watch the video.
PMC is recommended for endorsed riders ready to take their skills to the next level, but does not meet state mandatory training requirements for riders to earn a motorcycle license.
PMC Level 2 (Advanced)
Team Oregon offers a PMC Level 2 course for previous graduates of PMC ($99). Participants fine-tune low-speed handling skills, making quicker, tighter turns in more confined spaces. This course also features a high-speed weave and brake-and-escape drill. Register for Level 2 courses in Albany and Gresham.
Please note: Riding gear is required for all riding activities. Also, see Completion & Eligibility Requirements.

How to register
Use the search tool above to select a location. Refine your search by adjusting travel distance and course type. Click the “view schedule and register” link for the course you’d like to take.
After you register, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Read this information carefully. It will have the course schedule and start times, what to bring, map to the site, etc. If you do not receive a confirmation, check your junk mail folder.
PMC is offered at several locations. If you are unable to find a course that fits your schedule, view other sites or courses for more options. And if the course you want is filled, keep checking back. Late cancellations often leave last-minute openings.

What should you bring?
You must show a valid driver license with motorcycle endorsement and proof of insurance. You must provide their own street-legal motorcycle and protective gear. Your motorcycle must pass a safety inspection — worn-out tires are not allowed. You must wear boots, gloves, pants, long sleeves, eye protection and DOT helmet during the riding sessions. Click the button below for full details.
Completion & Eligibility Requirements
Participants must be 16 or older and possess a valid driver license, motorcycle endorsement and proof of insurance. Completion cards are e-mailed to graduates of PMC. The completion card may earn you an insurance discount.
Most participants complete the course successfully. However, there is no guarantee of course completion. Students who fail to demonstrate a minimum level of safety will be counseled out.
